Secondary Admission
Wildwood’s secondary program, opened in fall 2000, continues the philosophy of our elementary program and offers a dynamic, learner-centered environment for 400 students in grades six to 12. Our student-to-teacher ratio is 15:1, and students are supported by a strong daily advisory system. Two-year multi-age divisions within the secondary program allow for individual student development. (Sixth grade is a single-grade year.) The enrollment limit per grade level is 56 for sixth grade and 60 for seventh through twelfth grades.
Our secondary program embodies the best practices for middle and high school students and is designed to meet the academic and emotional needs of adolescents. We have found that students who are eager, self-motivated, thoughtful learners with strong study skills and well-developed interests do well in our program.
We expect openings at each grade level, with most in sixth, seventh, and ninth grades. Openings vary by year and are dependent upon attrition. We are happy to answer your questions about specific grade-level openings. Please call (310) 478-7189 or click here to e-mail us.
Our admission process is designed to give you a personal acquaintance with our innovative program and our architecturally striking campus. Let us know how we may help you. Click here for details about the secondary admission process.
