Dear Middle and Upper School Families,
Information Session Recap: If you were unable to attend last night's information session, or want to review the information again, click here for a video recording of the evening and click here for the slideshow presentation. Drop-Off/Pick-Up Schedules: As was outlined in the information session, click the following links to find the drop-off and pick-up schedules for middle school (Mondays and Tuesdays) and for upper school (Thursdays and Fridays). ACTION REQUIRED FOR ALL FAMILIES: Onsite Participation Survey Deadline Extended to Tomorrow, Thursday, March 25 at 11 a.m.: If you did not submit your response by March 19 letting us know if your student will be onsite or offsite for the rest of the school year, we have extended the survey deadline to tomorrow, March 25 at 11 a.m.
Teachers are currently making plans based on the number of students in attendance onsite and offsite, and your timely survey response is vital to this planning. You may not split onsite/offsite between weeks—students will either be completely offsite or onsite (Mondays/Tuesdays or Thursdays/Fridays). If we do not receive a response for your student by tomorrow, March 25, your student will remain offsite until their last day of school. If your student will not be onsite, students will Zoom into class. Week of April 12 Offsite Schedule Update As a reminder, all students will be offsite and attend classes via Zoom during the week of April 12, when we return from spring break. In preparation for our return-to-campus plan and to give middle and upper school teachers time to prepare, 6th-12th grade students will not have any classes on Wednesday, April 14. Students will be invited to division-specific meetings the morning of April 14 to answer any questions they might have. These meeting links will be shared with students directly. Spring Break Travel Guidance Reminder and COVID-19 Testing on Wednesday, April 14 Please be aware that your actions and choices over spring break could impact your children and potentially their classmates. For individuals who elect to travel despite the current advisory, we strongly urge these recommendations from the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health (LACDPH).
You will receive more information about testing on campus (drive-through before a return to campus and future testing during the school day) as we get closer to students coming onsite on April 19. We are planning for drive-through testing for all grades on Wednesday, April 14. These details can also be found on our Middle and Upper School Distributed Learning webpage at wildwood.org/mudistributedlearning. Please bookmark this and check it regularly for updates.
Please contact 6-12CovidInfo@wildwood.org for any middle and upper school-related COVID-19 questions.
