At Wildwood, our commitment to creating and fostering an inclusive and diverse learning environment for our students, faculty, staff, and parents is at the heart of our mission. Also at our core is the steadfast dedication to reflection, both as individuals and as an institution. This is why this school year we are partnering with the National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS) to engage our community in a year-long survey about our culture of inclusivity. The Assessment of Inclusivity and Multiculturalism (AIM) is a comprehensive assessment tool that delivers tangible results we can use to measure progress and plan for the future in sustaining an inclusive school marked by cultural competence. A steering committee, established by the Board of Trustees, will guide this effort. The committee members are: Collette Bowers-Zinn, Kyndall Brown, Rasheda Carroll, Sandi Crozier, Lisa Eisenpresser, Desiree Gaitan, Ben Salk, Don Smith, Paige Tolmach, and Kira Arné Verica.

Look for further information about the AIM survey soon, and thank you in advance for your participation in this crucial work.
