A Day at Wildwood Elementary

At Wildwood Elementary, children gather in morning circle to begin their day. Led by a meeting leader—who is seated in the rocking chair—it is a time for sharing with the group, previewing the day’s schedule, and building community. These Pod students (kindergarteners, first- and second-graders) are talking about writing letters to their grandparents inviting them to visit the school.
