Library

The Wildwood Secondary Library is located on the lower level of the campus and has an ever-expanding collection. Presently, there are approximately 10,000 titles, including reference volumes, non-fiction and fiction. There is an online catalog, high-speed Internet access, and an audio/visual collection. The library staff consists of a head librarian, a full-time assistant, a part-time assistant, and parent volunteers.

The library space contains both quiet areas and group workspaces. There is a café area for games, quiet conversation, and recreational reading.

The Wildwood community has access to the library throughout the day. The classroom teachers, the head librarian, and assistant librarian work together to develop long-term research projects, field trips, and literature circles. Additionally, independent work during students’ free periods (with teacher permission) is encouraged.

The secondary library accepts donations, and each year, the library staff creates a wish list of items to complement the collection. A gift book program is in the process of being created.
