> Nov. 2: WWPO Fall Summit
Sometimes education jargon can be confusing. WWPO's fall summit brought together administrators, teachers, and parents in conversation to discuss differentiated instruction and teachers in 3rd, 7th, and 12th grades shared specific examples from their classrooms. 

> Nov. 2-3: Middle School Production of Twelfth Night, or What You Will
Twelfth Night
, or What You Will is a comedy about a ship-wreck surviving, poetry-loving girl disguised as a boy, who finds herself at the center of a not-so-average love triangle. 

> Nov. 6: WISRD Community Fall Lecture with Dave Doody of NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory (6:30 p.m., middle and upper campus gathering space)
K-12 students, parents, and community members interested in topics relating to science, technology, engineering, and mathematics are invited to the fall event open house and poster session. Click here for speaker information.

> Nov. 7: College Counseling Coffee Chat for Parents of Juniors
Planning for College Visits: Learn about scheduling information sessions, campus tours, and how to make the most of your college visit. This coffee chat is specifically for parents of 11th graders.

Enjoy the middle and upper school community’s Cabaret featuring talented student singers and bands. Each night is different—come to one or both nights! Admission is free.

> Nov. 18: Independent School Alliance's Across Colors Diversity Conference
This local, day-long conference offers faculty, administrators, parents, and students the opportunity to come together to discuss issues surrounding diversity in independent schools. This year's theme is "There’s More to it Than Classes and Books: Creating Community, Building Empathy, and Maintaining Safety in the 21st Century Independent School." Elementary Teacher Monique Marshall will be leading a teacher workshop about discussing race with students. Click here to register.
