Volunteer

Volunteerism has a rich tradition at Wildwood, and remains vital in fostering a strong sense of community. Parents, grandparents, and alumni help in classrooms, work in the library, and participate on committees. Many also open their businesses to internship opportunities for our juniors and seniors.

The Wildwood Parent Organization, or WWPO, provides community building and fundraising support for the school. All Wildwood parents are automatically members of WWPO. The organization has volunteer opportunities for nearly every interest. Concerned about the environment? WWPO's recycling committee works with the student Green Team to help promote stewardship of Mother Earth. Are you a chef or party planner? WWPO has plenty of hospitality opportunities. In addition, WWPO spearheads a major fundraiser every year to benefit the Hope E. Boyd Endowment. WWPO's Angel Committee works with school administrators to support families in times of need, and the Parent Multicultural Collaborative facilitates events and discussions around topics related to diversity.

Meet Pam Mirvis
Pam has three daughters who attend Wildwood. From the first day she stepped on campus, she felt that it was the family's home away from home. More >
