Athletics
The Wildwood Wolves are skilled
scholar-athletes who bring a genuine love of sports to every game. Whether they
play baseball, volleyball, soccer, or with any of Wildwood's other sports
teams, the Wolves push themselves to achieve both individual and team goals.
Our athletic program focuses on teamwork, responsibility, and dedication in
addition to the pursuit of healthy competition, well-honed athletic skills, and
overall physical fitness. Student athletes are expected to maintain their
academic work and to demonstrate respect and good sportsmanship at all times.
Wildwood’s upper school is a member of the California Interscholastic
Federation (CIF) Southern Section, and teams play in the Mulholland League. The
middle school teams compete in the Pacific Basin League. Both middle and upper
school follow a "no-cut" policy, guaranteeing every student a spot on
an athletic team if they choose. Students learn to make positive contributions
to their team, to work together, and to develop confidence and physical
ability.
