Angel. This committee coordinates efforts to support and offer services to Wildwood families in times of need. Volunteers may deliver meals to families, provide lunches for students, or assist with rides to school and after-school activities.
Brunch Club. In appreciation of our teachers’ efforts at conference time, parents provide a light breakfast on conference day mornings at both campuses. This committee helps with set-up, clean-up, or organization of the food from parents.
Dinner for 12 Strangers/Apps for 50. This popular Wildwood tradition is designed to bring diverse groups of parents, faculty, and staff together in either an intimate setting. Dinners and appetizer parties are hosted simultaneously by Wildwood families.
Elementary Yearbook (elementary campus). Volunteers help bring to life, through photos and print, the magical memories that occur each school year to produce a quality elementary school yearbook.
Faculty and Staff Appreciation. From menu to décor to set-up and clean-up, parents help organize this annual appreciation luncheon for faculty and staff.
GardenPalooza Spring Fair. This annual outdoor K-12 event celebrates Mother Nature through hands-on learning activities, games, and more at the elementary campus. The committee plans various art and garden projects, coordinates food and beverages, and supports the afternoon’s activities as needed.
Jog-a-Thon and Spirit Day. A beloved tradition at Wildwood, these events celebrate our community as a whole and helps build school spirit! Parents come together to help with the elementary Jog-a-Thon (design class banners, count laps), organize shoe drives, create décor, sell spirit merchandise, take sports photos, and assist with the Winter Sports Fest.
Literary Events. We love books! This group organizes and supports some of the most beloved events at Wildwood, from the annual spring Book Swap to exciting author visits for students. Join the LEC and help spread the love of literature throughout the school!
Lost and Found (elementary campus). Volunteers help year-round to reunite owners with their lost items, helping to organize the Lost and Found and find new homes for unclaimed items by organizing charity donations.
Parent Multicultural Collaborative (PMC). This committee plays an important role in supporting and advancing Wildwood's multicultural community and establishes a forum for school-wide diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging related discussions. Volunteers assist with preparation for the Families of BIPOC Students Back to School Gathering, Multicultural Community Dialogue, Parent Affinity Spaces, and Multicultural Family Story Night.
Room/Grade Parent. Room and grade parents are a resource for new and returning families. This volunteer is a friendly "go-to" person who fields questions about school life, helps navigate all things Wildwood, and is a visible and important guide for families, new and old.
Visual Arts, Performing Arts, and Music. This committee acts as liaisons between the visual arts, performing arts, and music departments and WWPO. Volunteers assist with exhibitions, installations, productions, and overall studio organization.
Wildwood Fund Volunteer. Volunteers serve a critical role in ensuring a successful campaign for the Wildwood Fund by engaging with fellow parents, participating in phone-a-thons and drive activities, and encouraging robust community participation. Winter Solstice Celebration. Parents are invited to share special recipes that represent their family’s holiday tradition or cultural history for the digital Wildwood Family Cookbook. Families then come together for a festive celebration and share the special holiday traditions of our Wildwood community.
