Dear Elementary Parents and Guardians,
I hope you and your families are looking forward to a well-deserved rest these coming weeks! While all students and faculty will remain offsite for the week of April 12, I wanted to provide you with the action items and details for our onsite return prior to departing for spring break. RESPONSE REQUIRED by Wednesday, April 14: New Elementary Onsite Survey Please complete this new survey and submit a response for each of your students by Wednesday, April 14 at 5 p.m. This form is required for all families.
The date range for this survey, for all elementary students, covers April 19-May 14. Thank you in advance for your timely reply, as it is vital to lesson and spatial planning happening on campus.
The intention of the survey is to help maintain stable groups, as well as to help teachers with their planning. In order to plan and deliver quality programming, teachers refer to the survey results when designing lessons and organizing material needs. Teachers are planning for fixed groups in person and via Zoom, and are not able to accommodate mixed schedules.
If we do not receive a form for your student by Wednesday, April 14, your student will remain offsite from April 19 through May 14.
You will receive a new onsite participation survey for the remainder of the school year (May 17 to last day of school), at a later date. Zoomie/Roomie Commitment and Absences Unplanned or short-notice absences from onsite students will be considered absences just as they would in a typical school year. If an onsite student must stay home due to a short illness or is out for unexpected travel, they will not be able to join class via Zoom. They will be noted as absent for that day. However, students that are out for lengthier absences as the result of having to quarantine (based on county and state requirements) following planned travel will be permitted to Zoom in for those quarantine days. Drop-Off/Pick-Up Schedules: Starting Monday, April 19 To aid you in making a decision about your student coming onsite, please see the drop-off and pick-up schedules for K-5th grades. All grades will now be at the elementary campus.
