Catalysts of Creativity

Wildwood’s Catalysts of Creativity exhibition on the Santa Monica Promenade brought together middle and upper school artists, scientists, and innovators in a dynamic showcase of interdisciplinary work. What began as a collaboration between upper school visual arts and the Wildwood Institute for STEM Research and Development (WISRD) has grown into a joyful, interdisciplinary showcase featuring student work. Guests explored robotics, bio-sustainable fashion, AI prompts, mathematical-driven music compositions, and more—engaging with interactive works that turn data into music, light, and movement, with upper school students serving as docents to explain the innovation behind the artistry. Check out this video of the exhibition, as seen through the lens of Kade Cooper ‘25.
