Elementary Visual Arts

Students from 4th and 5th grades shared their work in visual arts with their families and fellow students. With the final portraits, photographs, drawings, and more around the Commons, students shared their reflections on the creative process. A handful of speakers read reflections of their challenges and successes in creating the pieces on display. Fourth grade student work focused on surrealism with dreamscapes, food made out of clay, and found object sculptures. Fifth grade's work focused on portraits, including self-portrait drawings and collaborative photographic portraits.
