Grandparents and Special Friends Day

This spring, Wildwood grandparents and special friends got a first-hand glimpse into a day in the life of Wildwood elementary students with the return of Grandparents and Special Friends Day! After a brief welcome, students presented some of their classroom learnings. Kindergarteners sang a song about belonging and 2nd graders explained their animal research project. Fifth graders shared the process of drawing and photographing self-portraits in their visual arts class. Then 1st grade showed how they created an alphabet, all while explaining the importance of having a growth mindset. Fourth grade students shared how they created clever travel brochures for planets in our solar system. Lastly, 3rd grade closed the program out with a song played on handbells and boomwhackers.
