Richard III Special Reading

Wildwood was honored to host Shakespeare Center LA, Al Pacino, and an all-star cast of actors for a special reading of Richard III! We were thrilled to have this amazing work on the stage of our middle and upper school theater. Our student actors were excited to participate, engage in a Q&A with the cast, and cheer on seniors Sam S. ’24 and Matt F. ’24, who played the roles of the young princes. 

“Diving into the world of Richard III was a truly unforgettable experience for our Wildwood community,” said performing arts teacher Stephanie Fybel, who’s connection with the Drama Teacher's Association of Southern California (DTASC) helped make the evening possible. “Our students embraced the opportunity to not only perform on the same stage but also participate in a meaningful Q&A session with the cast. It's moments like these that ignite a passion for the arts and leave a lasting impact on our young actors.”
