College Counseling Program

Wildwood School’s college counselors work closely with students and their families to find a college or university that will enrich the life of the student—a place where each student can build on the strong educational foundation established during their time at Wildwood.

Our approach is highly individualized and student-centered. Beginning in 9th grade and accelerating through the upper school years, we challenge students to consider how their talents, abilities, and dreams can shape their college search and experience. Throughout the school year, the college counseling team hosts events for both parents and students on a range of topics, such as applying for financial aid, how to make the most of college visits, considerations for first generation college students, and preparing for the transition to adulthood.
