Internships are part of the core curriculum for Wildwood juniors and seniors, and they provide students with professional experience for academic credit. From communications and public relations to sports management and research labs, Wildwood’s internship program enriches students’ education by extending their learning experience beyond the classroom. Through this program, students explore careers of interest, develop social skills for a professional setting, and build their college resume.

Examples of recent internship sites include the Santa Monica Museum of Art, Bad Robot Productions, The Peninsula Hotel, Brooks + Scarpa Architects, UCLA Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering, ESPN Deportes Radio, Mayme A. Clayton Library & Museum, Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, and the Skirball Cultural Center.

Employers: If you are an employer and want to become part of our exceptional roster of Wildwood-approved internship sites, please contact Phil McFarland, community programs director, at

"To see the mind and heart of a Wildwood student develop outside of the classroom is something special. By the end of the program, each student has become a fixture in our company." Chad Smith, Director of New Media, Nonfiction Unlimited
