Summer Program

Adventure Week: Campers (incoming 1st-6th grade Wildwood students and friends/family) will arrive each day and immediately board a bus to whisk them off, safely, to a fun destination. Subject to availability and enrollment, some potential destinations could include Knott's Berry Farm, Magic Mountain (for grades 4-6), the Newport Dunes Water Park, Tanaka Farms, or Boomers! Click here for details. 

Wild Dayz Expert Edition: Campers (incoming 1st-6th grade Wildwood students and friends/family) can dive deeply into an already existing passion/interest or discover a new one! Campers will pick one class and become "experts" for the week. Each class is designed and led by an instructor who has expertise in their area. No prior experience is necessary. Only a desire to want to learn more with other future experts! Classes will include painting, pottery, technology, jewelry making, dance, photography, Jedi Masters, Master WISRDs, and much more! Click here for details. 

Wildwood Summer Pea Pods Program: For Wildwood students entering kindergarten only.
Pea Pods Program is a non-mandatory introductory program meant to create a feeling of comfort and familiarity within the Wildwood community prior to kindergarten enrollment in the fall. Every week culminates in an exciting afternoon of water-play and special activities. Students may sign up for as little as one week, or as many as four, depending on interest and availability. Summer Theater Programs: Campers will rehearse and perform a musical production! When students aren’t rehearsing, they will enjoy acting classes, outdoor activities, arts and crafts, set building, and prop/costume making. Campers may enroll as a Performer or a Design camper. Camp staff is composed of Wildwood faculty, theater professionals, Wildwood alumni, and current Wildwood juniors and seniors. Click here for details about each camp.

NOTE: Current 5th graders (incoming 6th graders for 24-25) may enroll in either the Elementary or Middle School Summer Theater program. This is the last summer that current 5th graders may enroll in the elementary program. Beginning summer 2025, all current 5th graders will enroll in the middle school program

Counselor-in-Training (CIT) Opportunities: Under the supervision of our experienced staff, each CIT assists with all camp activities and acts as a positive role model for younger campers. Check the website for more details and pre-camp training session dates. CIT positions (open to incoming 9th-10th grade Wildwood students) are available for the Elementary Summer Theater Program. If any current 9th graders (incoming 10th graders for 24-25) would like to be a CIT for the Middle School Summer Theater program, please email Stephanie Fybel.
