Once your submitted online inquiry is processed, you will receive login credentials by email for the Wildwood School Admission Portal.

Once signed onto your Wildwood School Admission Portal, you may locate your child’s checklist by clicking on their name in the upper lefthand corner. The checklist can be found under the “Admission Progress” tab.

The application fee is $125 and is non-refundable. A fee waiver is available upon request. Please contact the admission office for more details. All applications (available on the Wildwood School Admission Portal) must be submitted by Dec. 16, 2024.

Please Note on the Application: While the short answer fields can accommodate lengthier responses, we appreciate it if you limit your answers to approximately 500 characters. We look forward to learning more during the interview stage.

Once you have submitted your application, the next step on the checklist is to schedule an interview. Parent/guardian and applicant interviews are held between September and January.

Applicants should bring a project to share and discuss in the interview that reflects an academic or extracurricular passion. This project must be the student’s own work and may be something they have done in school or outside of school. Applicants do not have to generate something new for the interview and the project will not be assessed. The project is meant to be a talking point from which to begin the conversation about personal and/or academic passions.

Transcripts, Recommendations, and any other supplemental forms and files need to be submitted by Jan. 17, 2025 (please note new date).

Option 1 (Preferred): Sign into your Wildwood School Admission Portal and request the Transcript and Recommendation Forms.

• We recommend requesting and submitting the recommendation via your child’s checklist on the portal. This way, the teacher/administrator is able to send it back to Wildwood directly the same way.

Option 2: Please download and submit the form directly to your child's current school. The school will return the forms and transcript directly to Wildwood.

9th Through 11th Grade Applicants for the 2024-2025 School Year:
Applicants to 9th through 11th grade will have the opportunity to shadow a current student for a half day on our middle and upper campus in January or February. Prospective students will get a chance to attend two classes with current Wildwood students then enjoy lunch while hearing more about extracurricular opportunities. These visits are an optional part of the admission process and registration is available now through the online admission portal.

The Admission Office will release decisions to families of students applying to 9th through 12th grade at 5 p.m. PST on Friday, March 14, 2025. Families will have until 12 p.m. on Friday, March 21, 2025 to enroll in the grade to which they have been accepted.

We love to see generations of Wildwood families in our applicant pool! Please note there is no separate process or preferential policy for legacy applicants. Children and family members of Wildwood graduates follow our standard application process and are considered as part of our larger applicant pool. That said, we ask that you please indicate your relationship with Wildwood on the application form, as it is helpful for us to know your connections to Wildwood as we get to know your family through the admission process.

No, we do not track attendance at tours and events. While we love sharing our campus with prospective families, there are many opportunities to experience our school community throughout the admission season. We encourage you to get to know Wildwood in a way that works best for your family without feeling pressured to attend all events to show demonstrated interest.

Your application is complete once all of the following steps have been completed:

• Online application submitted
• Attended a parent/guardian interview
• Attended the visit day
• Submitted all supplemental materials (recommendations and transcripts, when applicable)

When everything has been received and processed, your application is complete. Our team will notify you in late January to February if anything is missing or still needed to complete your application. You are also welcome to check your Wildwood School Admission Portal to track the progress of your application.

Ninth grade is the primary entry point for upper school. We admit approximately 10-20 students to ninth grade. In grades 10 and 11, spaces become available through attrition. We encourage students and families to apply and connect with the admission office.

ISEE and SSAT scores will not be required or considered in the admission process for the 2025-2026 school year.

Wildwood School administers a writing demo and math sample as part of the admission process in lieu of standardized testing. Students are required to complete these independently before Jan. 10, 2025. These demos can be found on the admission checklist through the online admission portal.

The process can begin at any time. There is so much to see on our website and social media. Our application will go live on Aug. 1.

The application deadline is Dec. 16 by 11:59 p.m., PST. This is the due date for the application itself. Supplemental materials are due Jan. 10.

Admission decisions will be released on March 14 at 5 p.m., PST.

Siblings of current Wildwood students are given priority consideration for admission. While Wildwood School is a good match for the majority of siblings, acceptance is not guaranteed as the admission process takes into account a complex set of criteria. To start the admission process, please fill out the online inquiry form.

Please Note: There is a required earlier deadline for applicants who are siblings of a current Wildwood student: Oct. 7, 2024.
